The SWISS CANYON TRAIL is ON!
Excellent news from the canyons of Val-de-Travers: THE RACE WILL TAKE PLACE. After taking into account all the demands of the Federal Council, the Neuchâtel State Council has granted a special authorisation to the SWISS CANYON TRAIL to organise three races of no more than 600 participants in one 48-hour event on the condition that there is no contact between racers in the different categories. There will be only three distances. The premier class 111K, and the 51K that counts as the Swiss championship and qualifying event for the trail world championships in Thailand will run at separate times on Saturday 5 June. The very popular 31K race has been moved to the morning of Sunday 6 June. Unfortunately, the 81K race has been cancelled in order to comply with health restrictions.
