HISTORY

SWISS CANYON TRAIL was born in 1994 under the name Trail de l'Absinthe. Since then, the race has evolved and welcomes more than 2,000 runners spread over four races: the ultra 111K, the 81K, the 51K and the 31K (also in Nordic Walking). The organizers have always put the desires and well-being of the participants first, listening to feedback and providing all essential facilities for everyone's comfort. Participating in the SWISS CANYON TRAIL is a unique experience!

We wish all runners to experience an event rich in emotions and to be able to take maximum pleasure in this wonderful, unique and natural environment. Be all ready to meet the famous green fairy on a bend! She could well come to your aid where difficulties hurt! And a huge THANK YOU to the 500 volunteers who provide extraordinary work.
