For its 30th anniversary, the Swiss Canyon Trail inaugurates its 100 miles. 166 kilometers for a challenge that pushes the limits and offers varied terrain, with steep climbs and technical descents for a total elevation gain of 8,147 meters. More than a simple ascent to a summit, each section of the route reveals unique and striking landscapes, inviting runners to endless exploration of the wild beauty of Val-de-Travers. Everyone will find their highlights, whether in the spectacular panorama or in the personal accomplishment that punctuates each kilometer.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
Minimum age: 18 years Any person, man or woman, according to the official categories of the SWISS CANYON TRAIL, licensed or not wishing to register for the 166K is required to have completed 2 races of at least 80 km, this between April 15, 2022 and April 15, 2025 or a 100 km between January 1, 2024 and April 15 2025.
SUPPLIES
13 official stations with isotonic liquid, still water, sparkling water, coke, rivella, syrup (mint and lemon), chocolate, farmer, apricots, bananas, oranges, apples, broth, cheese, dried meat, sausage, Tuc, chips, mixtures nuts.
Last 3 posts, hot pasta.
NB: Personal refreshments possible at each official post up to 100m after them. Wild refueling = disqualification.

LIFE BASE
Possibility of dropping off a bag transported to the Noirvaux life base (km 75). The bags can then be collected from the racing office in EspaceVal at any time until Sunday 8 a.m. Return of runner bags Saturday at 1:30 p.m., 5 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
RUNNERS’ HOME
The racing office, changing rooms, showers and massages are located at EspaceVal in Couvet.

EQUIPMENT CONTROL
Before collecting bibs and individual presence with mandatory identity card. Friday from 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
FREE PASTA PARTY
Each runner receives a voucher for the pasta party after the race at EspaceVal.
MANDATORY EQUIPMENT

- Eco cup
- Minimum water reserve one liter
- 2 headlamps in good working order with batteries or spare battery for each lamp
- Cellphone
- GPS device, Watch with GPX track downloaded 166K official
- Blanket
- Safety whistle
- Waterproof and waterproof jacket with a minimum water column of 10,000mm. Gore-Tex, Dry Q and other patented membranes. A simple windbreaker is insufficient, adult size.
- A long-sleeved garment
- Long technical pants/windbreakers or leggings
- Trail backpack, capacity depending on material.
- 1 x adhesive elastic band for making a bandage or strapping
- Food reserve
- Sticks allowed. The runner, who will equip himself with poles, will start and must finish the race with them.
